Our Vision
Our retreats offer an opportunity to consider health and wellbeing through the combination of ancient yoga philosophies and the ethics of Permaculture: self-care, earth care and fair share. We provide the space and quiet moments in which to delve into deeper thought allowing us to refresh, reset and reconnect. Our vision for these retreats is to run them as not-for-profit, giving people the opportunity to enjoy luxury accommodation in a stunning location but with the idea that they function as karma yoga retreats - the practice of giving back to the earth and others from a place of gratitude and compassion.
The healing properties of yoga can allow us to move into a state of equilibrium, harmonising with those around us, to enable us to have the courage and strength to devote more time to ourselves, for ourselves, which in turn will reinforce those bonds around us, to each other, to the earth, to our own needs.
What we offer you:
Time and space for self care, two yoga sessions a day, guided walks, Ayurvedic vegetarian food, accommodation, talks and workshops with local craftspeople and facilities for you to have massage, reiki and nutrition consultations (cost not included in retreat price)
What you can offer us:
Help with preparing food and cooking (a fantastic way to learn the art of Ayurvedic cooking), help with local projects such as gardening and conservation and maintenance of the house and any others skills that you can share with us during your stay.
Our intention for these retreats is for you to re awaken your connection to nature and become part of a community that is trying to make the world a better place! We hope you come away with a new sense of compassion and connection towards your own health and wellbeing, a new outlook on your relationships with others, and a greater appreciation for our world and the gifts it affords you.
